  (1902-1922) After the Franco-German war in 1870/71, Europe enjoyed a period of interior peace for more than forty years until the start of the First World War in 1914. People living in this period were materially confident and culturally optimistic, they had the feeling of a new start into better times. So began the time which nowadays people call the 'La Belle Epoque' (The beutiful time). (MPGE required).

  (1914-1918) You have heard of the Third Reich, but what exactly is the First and Second Reich? Reich is the German Empire. The First Reich was the Holy Roman Empire. The Second Reich was the empire created by Otto Von Bismark, and at its head is the Kaiser (download the sounds here).

  (1914-1918) The Archduke Francis Ferdinand has been assassinated in Sarajevo, which prompts Austria to declare war on Serbia. Russia, Germany and France order general mobilization.

  (1914-2010) This set of five scenarios is a successor to the "History of Asia, Part A" set, and covers the history of East Asia and the Pacific between just after the First World War and a hypothetical Year 2010. It is important to note that certain key periods are excluded in this treatment. These periods include the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and the Early and Late Cold War periods. (1917-1921) On Nov. 7, 1917, the Bolshevik (Communist) Party, led by Vladimir Ilych Lenin, seized power in Petrograd, the capital of Russia. Over the next ten days they won power in Moscow and the rest of the country.

  (1936-1939) When the leading Generals of the Spanish Army led their troops into a revolt against the Republican Government on 18th July 1936, they expected little opposition to their coup d'etat. They were, however, mistaken. The supporters of the Government proved to be much stronger than expected and as a result Spain experienced three years of bloody Civil War...    Appeasement and Agression  by Case  
  (1936-1949)This scenario is an attempt to design a truly PBEM friendly WW2 scenario. It is not intended to be played as a single player scenario. As a result of this design philosophy, many of the elements which are standard in WW2 scenarios are missing from this one: war is notinevitable and the available units are balanced. As a result, the German player isn’t automatically fated for greatness and the French can avoid doom. (FW required, MPGE recommended).

  1936-1978)  The Spanish Civil War begun in 1936. The 17th of July the Army in Africa rebelled against the Spanish Republic. July 18 marked the beginning of the war in the peninsula.

  (1936-1945)  Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of Germany in 1933. Under his leadership the country developed into a ruthlessly aggressive totalitarian state. All forms of democratic government and political opposition were soon swept away. By coercion, repression and propaganda, the Nazi Party began to control German life.   (1939-1945) The purpose of the scenario is to discover which other ways WWII could have unfolded if different personalities were involved.   (1939-1945) When the first German soldiers entered Poland on 1 September 1939 it was not really clear that this conflict, a European territorial war, would become the world's largest and most destructive war ever fought. In this winter no-one thought that this war would be fought on all continents, in all oceans and in the air, leaving no-one un-affected by it.

  (1939-1946) It is September 1939, and non-violent German expansion and 6 years of Nazi Rule have turned Hitler's Germany into a vast sprawling bulk in central Europe. However, Hitler has set his sights on Poland, and Allied policies of appeasement have been thrown onto the fire- if Poland is invaded, Europe will erupt into war on an unprecedented scale.

  The Norwegian Campaign v2  by Eivind IV  
  (1940) The time is the 9th of April 1940 and Germany is about to unleash a major blitzkrieg campaign on Norway. Denmark has already fallen. British, French and now exiled Polish troops quickly set up an expeditionary force to counter the Germans in their quest for dominance. The Norwegian Campaign was a great gamble for Hitler and it became the first time in history were naval, air and land forces were coordinated in large operations.   (1940) 10th May 1940: The Germans, following the Manstein plan, attack the Netherlands and Luxemburg. If the allied troops don't get hurry, the German troops will break Belgian defences and France will be exposed to a great-scale invasion. This scenario reminds the Battle of France; play with french or british to stop the german offensive at the beginning and avoid the WWII...

  (1942-1960) Using the new the new blitzkrieg tactics to crush opposition in Poland, Scandinavia, the Low Countries, France and the Balcans within two years, Hitler found himself in total command of the European Continent. His next step: the Soviet Union. Meanwhile, in the Pacific, the Japanese had turned aggressive. By August 1942 they had taken control of Southeast Asia and reached as far as New Guinea on the road toward an invasion of Australia. Menaced by the American presence in the Pacific, the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, bringing the United States into the war.  
     
  Panzer Battles on the River Chir  by Exile  
  (December 1942) Your task is to hold the line of the river Chir against strong but unconcerted attacks by the Russian 5th Tank Army. The 4th Panzer Army is attmpting to relieve the  encircled 6th Army at Stalingrad. Your 48 Panzer Korps must act as a mobile reserve along the river line in order to cover his advance toward the beleaguered city. Download sounds here.

(December 1962). The world just made it through the Cuban Missile Crisis without the outbreak of World War III. But tensions are not fading. The USSR promised the US to remove its Nukes from the Caribbean but will Krushchev really do so? In the meantime the relations between Israel and its neighbors, the Arab League and the United Arab Republic grew even worser.

(1981-1982) This scenario rememorates the war between Argentina and the UK for the control of the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas in Spanish). On April 2, 1982, an Argentinian army attacked the British positions, thus beginning the last war of the British empire in the XX century.

(1983) Following a breakdown in civil order, U.S. forces, in conjunction with contingents of the security forces of several neighboring Caribbean states, invaded the independent state of Grenada on October 25 in response to an appeal from the governor general and to a request for assistance from the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States. The mission was to oust the People's Revolutionary Government, to protect U.S. citizens and restore the lawful government.
